Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are no strangers to an A-list event, especially not the Met Gala.
However, the hot couple did not make an appearance at the star-studded event.
It comes after numerous reports over the weekend that there is beef in the Beckham camp, given how Brooklyn failed to show up at his dad David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash.
The footballing legend celebrated entering his fifth decade in epic style along with wife Victoria, 51, and their children: Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.
A raucous party was held in London, which even attracted noise complaints as celebs, including Gordon Ramsay and Tom Cruise, drank their way into the early hours.
Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent, though, as it’s believed they jetted back to the States upon deciding not to show.

The 26-year-old photographer/chef and his actress wife, 30, are believed to have pulled out of Anna Wintour’s annual fashion extravaganza this evening, despite no longer being physically unable to attend due to being across the pond.
The Sun reports that Brooklyn is now reeling after missing out on a huge milestone with his family, with a source sharing an insight into the fallout with the publication.
‘They (Brooklyn and Nicola) cancelled plans to attend the Met because they really intended to be at David’s party on Saturday,’ the insider began.
‘But Brooklyn is really upset that blame for the rift has been levelled at Nicola.
‘She has never told him what to do and has been nothing but supportive—she’s a loyal wife.’
Of course, the reasons for Brooklyn and Nicola’s absence are all hearsay currently, but it was claimed by TMZ that Brooklyn promised to go if the family uninvited one person.

Celebration silence – April 9
Victoria and David also stayed silent on Brooklyn and Nicola’s third wedding anniversary on April 9. This was a surprising move as in previous years, Posh and Becks have been keen to celebrate their eldest son’s milestones.
Victoria Beckham celebrated her birthday on April 17, and while the rest of the family wished the former Spice Girl well on her special day, the couple was notably silent.
Brothers divided – April 8
It’s unclear why the family has been divided recently, but it has been suggested that London-born DJ Kim Turnbull, Romeo’s new girlfriend, dated Brooklyn before she got into a relationship with Romeo, which has caused a rift between the brothers.
Although Cruz has rubbished claims that Brooklyn and Kim ever dated, it has still been reported that there are ongoing tensions within the family.
TMZ reported that Brooklyn and Romeo have fallen out since Kim came onto the scene, as Brooklyn and Kim dated as teenagers in 2016.
The outlet claimed that Brooklyn and Nicola question whether Kim has the right intentions when it comes to dating Romeo. They also added that sources informed them that Brooklyn and his wife will no longer attend family events where Kim will be present.
Absence at David’s birthday – May 2
For David’s 50th, there was a pre-birthday bash in Miami, a gathering at their £10,000,000 home in the Cotswolds on Friday, a family lunch in Paris, and a celebrity-filled milestone birthday bash in London at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Core in London.
Allegedly, Brooklyn had asked that his ex-girlfriend not show at his father’s 50th celebrations, but the family reportedly declined.
This led to Brooklyn deciding to skip the celebrations altogether, but close pals have said he did text his famous father to wish him well.
Brooklyn also reportedly attempted to arrange a private meet-up but was unsuccessful.

Regret from Brooklyn – May 5
As the dust begins to settle after the Beckham clan’s wild weekend, Metro was told on May 5 that Brooklyn feels ‘disappointed in himself’ for how things turned out.
‘David was truly in his element surrounded by all of his family and closest friends; it was a great time all around,’ a source said.
‘He wants things to go back to how they were, but it feels as if the divide has separated the family deeply.

‘Nicola isn’t pushing him to repair things either. He’s married now, and his wife will continue to be his biggest focus.’
Meanwhile, Nicola has returned to social media and kept schtum on the swirling reports of a feud, instead doing some promotional work to her 3.1million followers.
Mere hours ahead of this year’s Met Gala arrivals, she took to her Instagram feed with an ad for ISDIN SPF, noting that May is Melanoma Awareness Month.
Despite plenty of comments quizzing her on why she ‘doesn’t like her in-laws’ and demanding a response to her absence from Becks’ party, the director said nothing.
David reaches out – May 5
Despite being silent for his son’s anniversary, David has been mindful to mention that Brooklyn is being ‘missed’ in social media posts about his 50th shared on May 5.

David took his sons, Romeo and Cruz, on a holiday to Scotland at the beginning of his birthday week, and was quick to mention that Brooklyn was ‘missed’ on the boys’ trip.
The footballer also continued to tag his eldest son in gushing posts about his family as he celebrated his 50th birthday with a selection of images of his wife and family.
Reps for Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have been contacted for comment.
