Lily Allen has shared a horrifying story with fans as she was confronted with a ‘pile of human faeces’.
The Smile singer, 39, has faced her fair share of heartache over the past few months as it was revealed that she had split from her husband, David Harbour.
It was then rumoured just a few weeks ago that the actor had cheated on Lily for years of their marriage and had a 22-year-old girlfriend.
Lily has now revealed that she has been confronted with another uncomfortable situation – this time finding herself sitting next to a pile of human waste while on a train.
The star made light of the grotesque situation as she shared snaps of herself on public transport with a hilarious caption sharing the story.
‘She didn’t know it yet, but just after this picture was taken her whole day was about to change forever,’ she began in the caption of the post.
‘She realised the reason the carriage she was on was almost empty was because there was a pile of human faeces on the floor, the stench was absolutely hideous, hence the emptiness.’
She then revealed that the ‘pile’ led to disaster as she was forced to exit the train and miss an appointment.
‘It was too much to bear, so she got off at the next stop, but the other carriages were so full she couldn’t push her way on.
‘She gave up on that particular train but realised she would have to wait 14 mins for the next. She wasn’t going to make it to her Botox appt on time, and she knew full well that her doctor didn’t have any more slots till next month.
‘She reluctantly called the doctor’s office to reschedule and then got on another train going in the other direction. She picked at a pimple on the side of her nose and it bled all the way home. She didn’t have any tissue.’
The story from the star comes just weeks after she warned fans about their etiquette on tubes.
While speaking on her Miss Me? podcast with Miquita Oliver, the singer said it is ‘annoying’ when people record her while she’s using public transport.
‘I do get the Tube, sometimes people do recognise me, I can see that they’re filming me and I’m like “hi’,” she said, answering a question sent in by a listener asking if she uses the Tube.
‘It’s annoying when people try and do it without [alerting me], it’s like why would you be holding your phone at that angle and holding it so intentionally but not looking at it,’ she continued.
‘It’s like, “Not me, no, I’m not doing anything with my phone.”‘
