Justin Bieber has been at the center of headlines in recent months, after sparking intense fears over his social media posts, and his public appearances.
The Baby singer, 31, has been a staple of the spotlight since being discovered through his YouTube videos in the 00s, and blessed us all with hit after hit in that time – including Sorry, Yummy, Love Yourself and One Less Lonely Girl.
He has also had a rollercoaster time over the last few years – which saw him battle facial paralysis condition Ramsay Hunt syndrome in 2022, and welcome baby boy Jack with wife Hailey Bieber last August.
Questions have been raised about his relationship with the model, 28, after they appeared to ‘unfollow’ each other on social media, and his seemingly ‘frail’ appearance, coupled with his bizarre Instagram antics.
Justin responded to the concern by branding the narrative ‘exhausting’ – here is everything that the musician has said about the growing alarm.
‘S**t is getting suss’ – January 21

Justin kicked off the year by being forced to squash split speculation with Hailey, after it was alleged that he had unfollowed the Rhode Beauty founder on Instagram.
The couple first started nearly a decade ago, and secretly got married in 2018, before hosting a second ceremony in 2019.
Many feared the worst and believed that the ‘unfollow’ meant they had secretly gone their separate ways, months after becoming parents for the first time.
However, the dad-of-one put paid to the rumors with a short message on his page, claiming that someone had accessed his account without his knowledge.
In a short message before re-following Hailey, he fumed: ‘Someone just went on my account and unfollowed my wife.
‘S**t is getting suss out here.’
‘It’s time to grow up’ – February 20

Justin was met with further worries the next month after declaring that he was ‘changing’ in a message to fans, explaining that he was ‘letting go’.
He wrote: ‘Not trying harder! Are you tired of trying to follow all of the rules in hopes to get the results you crave?’
Explaining that love was ‘more powerful than rules’, he insisted: ‘It’s time to grow up. Changing is about letting go!
‘I tried to follow the rules. I’m not good at it. But u don’t need to follow rules to enter into a life of love. U just receive so enter love living!
‘God always grants us love! It’s one of his promises! Upon receiving God’s love! U start to change and start following love.
‘Today I’m letting go and remembering the weight isn’t on me to change. The weight is on God. So I give all my insecurities and my fears to him this morning. Because I know he gladly takes it. Asking Jesus to genuinely help me with simply the next step today [sic].’

Shortly after the upload, it was alleged that Hailey was ‘deeply concerned’ for him, and was unsure of ‘where to turn’ for ‘help’.
‘It’s like he doesn’t care about his well-being anymore,’ an insider told the Daily Mail. ‘He’s moodier too. People are worried that he’s lost any motivation, even for his music.’
‘He won’t listen to her when she tries to help,’ they claimed. ‘Hailey struggles with where to turn.
‘It’s not as if she can ask his family for help – or hers for that matter. They’ve both experienced estrangement from them.’
However, a contradictory source told Us Weekly that Justin is ‘happier than he’s been in a long time’.
‘There’s no breakdown, and he just really doesn’t care what people think. He knows he looks strange leaving spas shirtless, but it’s just him,’ they vowed.
‘And after the rumors, he’s doing it out of spite now, he’s just being himself and won’t create a squeaky-clean image just because the public wants him to.’

In the wake of a post about growing up, the musician’s team spoke out against rumors that he was using drugs, after he was seen with ‘red eyes’ in New York.
‘The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true,’ they said in a statement to TMZ, sharing that the What Do You mean singer is ‘in one of the best places in his life.’
‘The persistent narrative is exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive,’ the message said.
‘[The last 12 months have been] very transformative for him as he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.’
Shortly after the denial, Justin shared further videos on social media in which he allegedly smoked from a bong and rapped with a friend about being ‘high’, while looking glassy-eyed.
‘I like a fly guy, I fly high like a magpie, I go high like I’m that guy,’ he said towards the camera, while topless.
‘I have always felt unworthy’ – March 13

Fans grew more concerned for the child star when he spoke openly about suffering with imposter syndrome in another public post, sharing that he struggled with feeling ‘unworthy’.
‘People told me my whole life “wow Justin u deserve that”,’ he said last month.
‘I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud. Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, damn if they only knew my thoughts.
‘How judgemental I am, how selfish I really am. They wouldn’t be saying this. I say all this to say. If you feel sneaky welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days [sic].’
‘I think I hate myself sometimes’ – March 22
A week later, he admitted to sometimes feeling like he hated himself for changing certain aspects of his personality to ‘please people’.
Alongside a video as he played the keyboard, he added: ‘I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic.
‘Then I remember we’re all being made to think we’re not enough but I still hate when I change myself to please people.’
‘Hate to take your feelings ransom’ – March 30

Just days ago, the superstar was flooded with panicked comments after offering up a picture of his rarely-seen son on Instagram – having mostly kept him firmly off social media.
In the snap, which is part of a larger carousel of pictures, he could be seen embracing Jack while they enjoyed a sunny day.
‘Hate to take your feelings ransom,’ he captioned the upload.
Justin covered his face with an emoji, while also shielding his bum from the camera but followers flooded the comments section and urged him to take the upload down.

At the time of writing, the photo is still visible on his page, with more than 3.8million likes so far, and over 41,000 comments.
As discourse rages on, Justin ignored the commotion on Wednesday to share a sweet message to his mom, Pattie, to commemorate her 50th birthday.
‘50 MOMMMMMMMM,’ he wrote beside a throwback of this mother on Instagram. ‘Luv that I get to be ur son. Happy bday @pattiemallette [sic].’
Thrilled by the tribute, Pattie replied: ‘Love you so much!’
